Special Transport Facility by KSRTC during Mysuru Dasara-2018 and Dasara holidays.
In view of Mysuru Dasara-2018 and Dasara holidays, KSRTC has made elaborate arrangements for operating extra buses as mentioned below in addition to the existing Express, Karnataka Vaibhav, Rajahamsa, Airavat and Airavat Club Class (Multi-Axle) services to provide transport facility to the travelling public coming from various places of the State and the Country to attend the World Famous Dasara Festival being held at Mysuru.

KSRTC’s Driver-cum-Conductor Sri.Jayadeva, B.No.2284, Chamarajnagar Division, Kollegal Depot returned Jewellery worth Rs.2.5 lakhs to the passenger.
On 26.08.2018, A Chamarajnagar Division, Kollegal depot bus no KA 10 F 0381, while plying from Kollegal to Bangalore, a group of 4 passengers boarded the bus at Malavalli traveling to Channapattana.
KSRTC Services were temporarily cancelled
Due to bad road condition the following services were temporarily cancelled w.e.f. 27/28-8-2018. The details of the services were as under.
5 Mini Buses service by KSRTC on the route Madikeri to Sulya via Panathur, Karike & Bhagamandala.
Due to heavy rains, cracks in roads and landslides taking place at hilly terrain of Kodagu, KSRTC has withdrawn its services temporarily in the direct route of Mercera-Sulya.
KSRTC is providing adequate transport facilities from Madikeri to Sulya & back via Panathur, Karike and Bhagamandala.
Puttur Division of KSRTC is providing adequate transport facilities on the straight and nationalized route from Madikeri to Sulya & back, having a distance of 51.0 Kms. The travelling public/school-college students were availing these services.

Owing to incessant and continued heavy rainfall in Coastal and Malnad areas of Karnataka State and also in Kerala State, landslides have occurred at many of the hilly terrain areas, and have thus blocked the roads, rendering smooth movement of vehicles impossible.

KSRTC is introducing Package tours from Managalore ,Davanagere ,Shivamogga and Mysuru to Tirupati with effect from 20.07.2018.

Ticket Printout Not Mandatory
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has set an example for other transport entities in the country, by offering paperless ticket travel, the first of its kind in India.A printout of an e-ticket or m-ticket booked by a passenger has now been rendered redundant. The ticket details received on his/her mobile can be presented along with a proof of the passenger’s identity to the conductor on the bus.
