తెలంగాణ ఆర్టీసీ నుంచి ఏసీ స్లీపర్‌ బస్సులు
హైదరాబాద్‌: తెలంగాణ ఆర్టీసీ తొలిసారిగా ఏసీ స్లీపర్‌ బస్సులను ప్రవేశపెట్టేందుకు సిద్ధం అవుతోంది. మార్చి నుంచి 18 బస్సులు ప్రయాణికులకు అందుబాటులోకి రానున్నాయి. నమూనా బస్సు సోమవారం హైదరాబాద్‌లోని బస్‌భవన్‌ ప్రాంగణానికి రాగా, ఆర్టీసీ ఎండీ సజ్జనార్‌, ఈడీ (ఆపరేషన్స్‌) పీవీ మునిశేఖర్‌లు పరిశీలించారు. దూరప్రాంతాలకు, ముఖ్యంగా రాత్రి ప్రయాణాలు చేసేవారికి ఈ బస్సులు సౌకర్యంగా ఉంటాయి. కొద్దిరోజుల క్రితం నాన్‌ ఏసీ స్లీపర్‌ కమ్‌ సీటర్‌ బస్సులను టీఎస్‌ఆర్టీసీ రోడ్డు ఎక్కించింది. నాన్‌ ఏసీ స్లీపర్‌ బస్సుల మాదిరే ఏసీ స్లీపర్‌ బస్సులకూ లహరి అని నామకరణం చేసింది. ఈ బస్సులను హైదరాబాద్‌ నుంచి పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లోని విశాఖపట్నం, తిరుపతి, బెంగ ళూరు, చెన్నై, హుబ్లీ నగరాలకు నడిపించనున్నట్లు ఎండీ సజ్జనార్‌ తెలిపారు.
Good news i.e. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Launched the Lahari Non-AC Sleeper Buses will be available for TSRTC passengers from Wednesday. A total of 10 bus services started between Hyderabad-Kakinada and Hyderabad-Vijayawada. Among them 4 are full sleeper buses and 6 are sleeper cum seater buses. TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan and MD Sajjanar launched of Lahari’ sleeper buses on Wednesday at 4 pm near at KPHB Colony bus stop.
TSRTC Lahari Bus Timings :
From Hyderabad BHEL to Kakinada : 7.45 PM & 8.30 PM
Buses going towards Kakinada depart from Hyderabad BHEL. Daily departure at 7.45, 8.30 pm. From Kakinada to Hyderabad at 7.15 pm and return journey at 7.45 pm.
From Miyapur to Vijayawada : 9.30 am, 10.45 am, 11.45 am and 9.30 pm, 10.15 am, 11.15 pm
Buses bound for Vijayawada depart from Miyapur at 9.30 am, 10.45 am, 11.45 am and 9.30 pm, 10.15 am, 11.15 pm daily. From Vijayawada at 10.15 am, 11.15 am, 12.15 pm and midnight at 12.00 pm, 12.45 pm for Thiru.
Lahari Sleeper Buses Features & Details
Sleeper buses have 15 lower berths and 15 upper berths. Each berth has a water bottle and mobile charging facility. The seater cum sleeper buses have a capacity of 15 upper berths and 33 seats in the lower level. Every bus is provided with air suspension facility. Every bus has Wi-Fi. Attendants assist passengers in loading and unloading luggage as well as providing free water bottles and fresheners to the passengers. Wide berths have been arranged for the convenience of passengers.
Telangana RTC Special Offer for Sankranti
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has announced a bumper offer for commuters going to their hometowns on Sankranti. If the tickets are booked at the same time, 10 percent discount is given on the return journey. It has been revealed that this discount is applicable for advance reservation booking in Deluxe, Super Luxury, Rajdhani, Garuda Plus buses… This discount will be valid till next January 31. TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan and company MD Sajjanal said that it has been decided to announce a 10 percent discount to reduce the financial burden on passengers on the occasion of Sankranti. It is clarified that one can visit the official website www.tsrtconline.in for advance reservation.
