Sir today 06 July 21 at 0914 hours I am Indian Air Force Officer was traveling by a Ola cab on official tour of duty as my personal vehicle or service vehicle is not available at outstation duty . Whereas I was exempted from paying toll tax while crossing palsit toll to go to panagarh Air Force Station yesterday , the same was not exempted while going back today to barrackpore Air Force station. The on duty personnel 3 of them at VIP gate of toll plaza dishonoured my identity even after producing my defence I’d stating that as I am traveling by a comercial car the toll tax has to be paid.please refer your rule book and govt order of ministry of defence and high ways , there is no mention of type of vehicle but only mention of personnel travelling in your exemption list. The same must be conveyed to the staffs so that they don’t harrass us in journey.
