Buses are given on hire to the public for purpose such as sightseeing tours, marriages, school / college study tours / excursions etc. on the basis of rate per km. This type of operations is also called Casual contract services.

Important terms and conditions
Weekday rates are applicable for casual contracts operated between Monday and Thursday.
For operations involving weekend days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), Weekend rates will be charged for the whole contract.
In addition Rs.50/- per bus is collected as ARF.
Recognized Schools and colleges will be given concession of Rs.1/- per km on booking of Casual Contract services.
The kilometers will be calculated from the operating Depot and return to the same Depot.
Booking has to be done at least 3 days in advance with full details of the tour programme.
Buses will be spared subject to availability.
Payment has to be made in advance along with 20% refundable Security Deposit.
Toll fee, entry fee and any other fee to be paid by party.
In case of Inter-state contract, Permit Charges and Entry Tax shall be extra.
Furnishing of passenger list is compulsory in case of Inter-state contract.
A day means 24 hours from the time of departure from the Depot.
For late arrivals, extra amount will be charged.
GST rates nil for non-AC buses for both interstate and intrastate CC services w.e.f 01-07-2017.
GST rates @5% for AC buses for both interstate and intrastate CC services w.e.f 01-07-2017.
Cancellation Rules:
For cancellation of casual contract bookings, fee as detailed above will be deducted.

Chartered Contract Services
Chartered contract services means operation of services to fixed timings on a fixed route for fixed group of commuters on daily basis. These services are custom-made to the requirements of students of schools / colleges and employees of Private factories, Offices, Private Companies, Public undertakings etc. KSRTC is providing its buses on chartered contract at rates and terms and conditions given below.

GST – Not applicable for non-AC services and 5% for AC services.
